READY TO GO DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE?

Bellvue Manor Wedding | Vaughan | Erica + Nick

Ok, now that we expressed our gratitude for a sandwich, let’s talk about how we met this couple in the first place. Erica’s mom actually worked with a mother of one of our previous brides (Thea). So happy that Erica’s mom saw their video and shared it with her daughter! Moms know best 🙂

Erica and Nick held their wedding at Bellvue Manor in Vaughan. Fittingly, they had their reception in the ‘Library’ room. With Erica being a teacher (a fantastic one at that!), she included some school/library-themed elements in her wedding decor. It was the cutest thing having the dinner menus on old-school library cards and the seating chart set up as a Table-of-Contents. You gotta check out the video for all these details! You’ll also see in the video proof that Erica’s such an amazing teacher. The amount of students that showed up at Erica’s ceremony was incredible. It was such a beautiful thing to witness when the priest told all the students to assemble at the front of the church so they could all take a group picture with their teacher and her new husband. So heartwarming and a first for us! We love firsts! Another wedding to check out with school-themed elements was Robin + Dana’s, two elementary school teachers themselves.

We must also mention the deep family bonds that we witnessed on this wedding day. Erica and her dad? No words. Please just watch the wedding video! You will need tissues – lots of them! Oh, and Nick and his Nonna (grandma), someone seriously needs to make grandparent dances mandatory at weddings. It was such a moment to witness this dance. The fact that the family all gathered around in a circle around Nick and his grandma made it that much more powerful. The way Nick’s nonna was holding onto him so tightly brought on a flood of emotions in each and every guest in the room (including us!). It’s true, when you have family, you have everything!

So much to say about this big day, but we won’t ramble on. The video again, will do the talking! Nick, we are happy that you persisted in your pursuit of Erica, as we wouldn’t be here today, sharing such a great love story on film. Thank you guys for letting us be the ones to tell it.

Don’t be strangers and keep in touch!

Love,
Joanie and Henry x
