Nope, that’s not a typo, both brides are called Grace! How cool is that? When they first contacted us, we noticed their wedding email address was grace squared, and now we can’t help but refer to the two of them as just that! We certainly won’t be forgetting their names anytime soon!
These two lovebirds were planning their wedding for quite sometime, and then Covid-19 came along and threw a spanner in the works. There was a lot of talk about different dates and no doubt a lot of hard decisions they had to make, but in the end they made it happen on the original date they had planned. For the guests that couldn’t make the trip due to Covid, they had a great zoom set-up where they could interact with all of the guests that couldn’t make it and even listen to their speeches on the loud speaker.
Every couple has a unique love story and theirs was no different, they just had a few extra hoops to jump through along the way. But just like every good love story, love conquers all in the end. We know that sounds cheesy and we can’t believe we just said it, but it’s so true and we can’t think of a better way to sum up their journey together. One thing that really helped us during the editing process was getting some audio from both of them in the morning. As you probably know by now, we like to do little Q&A sessions with couples to get further insight into their love story. Having some extra soundbites can really help fill in the gaps during the editing process. And boy were we glad we took the time to do the Q&A with Grace and Grace. The both of them gave us gold! Their answers were so genuine and raw – it got us all emotional when we were piecing their highlights together! Want more feels?
