Wow, you could really feel – like literally feel – the LOVE in this one! After the Q&As and all the speeches, and watching Andrew and Sarah interact together all day and night, you just couldn’t picture the one without the other. They are totally in love and we could see that after just spending one day with them! There is no better example of this than the look on Andrew’s face when he first saw Sarah walk down the aisle (both times!). During the Hindu ceremony, Andrew’s face was just in absolute awe seeing his bride walk through the doors. And at the Catholic ceremony it was no different. It was awe mixed with an overflowing of emotion, of joy, and of ‘wow, I’m so lucky she’s my bride!’. Honestly for us as wedding videographers, his look was priceless. We get emotional every time we watch that part of the video.
Along with these amazing reactions, we lucked out with some amazing speeches. It was a mix of heartfelt and hilarious which is the deadliest combination for weddings. Everyone had tears in their eyes and laughter in their bellies. The hardest part was choosing what to use in the video! Especially since we had some amazing audio already from the bride and groom themselves during the Q&A. Both of them were so open and honest with their answers which is always what we’re after!
Their wonderful reception was held at Chateau Le Jardin which is also where we filmed Mustafa + Alina’s wedding. It was a night full of surprises! First a wedding party dance right after the entrances. Then, a lovely choreographed dance by the couple themselves! The surprises can’t just all be for the guests though. Sarah got an amazing surprise of her own, when Andrew busted out his vocals for two tracks to open up the dance floor! What a way to make the night that much more special and personal to the couple.
The wedding wouldn’t have come together without the help of Jovie, owner of Jovial Events. She was wedding planner/coordinator extraordinaire and really made the night run as smoothly as possible. We have to thank her for making our jobs that much easier! Speaking of vendors, we also worked with Victor Lee Photography again which was a great time as usual. We worked with him for Raymond and Thea’s wedding, and my cousin’s wedding last year. It’s always great to see a familiar face at weddings!
