Sometimes when we meet with couples we have so much fun that we forget that this is actually a job. How lucky are we? Chatting with Blake and Emily was like chatting with old friends right from the beginning (as the wives keep saying, the bromance was brewing!). Blake and Emily placed their faith in us from day one and really let it show by how laid back they were about everything on the day. Do you know that these two met when they were kids? And Emily even asked Blake back then, if they were good enough friends to have him invite her to his future wedding? You seriously can’t write this stuff! We knew we had a special story and wedding on our hands and we felt honoured to be the videographers chosen to tell it.
The wedding reception was held nearby at Woodside Greens Golf Club. The cocktail hour was held outside where there was plenty of space for the guests to roam around and mingle. We loved that the reception was held under a pavilion, maybe because we did the same thing at Black Creek Pioneer Village for our own wedding! Brought back feelings of a great day and being one with nature! Another great ceremony space is Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens where we filming a very memorable wedding between Emily + Justin.
Before we end this post, we need to mention again how incredible these two individuals are. Emily is a naturopathic doctor who spreads love and joy everywhere she goes, and Blake is a motivational speaker who, not surprsingly too, spreads love and joy where HE goes!
