This was one of those weddings where we felt as though we were walking onto the set of a movie. The set up, the decor, the venue, the people – everything was absolutely unreal! After we collectively picked up our jaws off the ground when we saw the beautifully elegant space (florals by Opening Night Flowers), the movie-like feeling continued. The vows and the speeches were as if they were scripted for the most romantic film you could imagine! We have to give props to Alexandra for her speech, we couldn’t help but get goosebumps. We were awaiting each new sentence with every pause – she was amazing (she was sick by the way, but her raspy voice just added to the content LOL!). Let’s just say that everything about that day felt right – absolutely perfect.
The ceremony was held at Knox College Chapel and the reception was held at Hart House, otherwise known to me as the Harry Potter venue! I fell in love with this space the first time we filmed there for Jeremy and Valeria’s wedding day. It’s definitely a treat for all of your guests and the food is ALWAYS on point! Our bellies were extremely satisfied.
We also got to work with a wonderfully talented photographer that we got on with so well, Angelika Filinska. It was easy as pie from the start and it was basically seamless working together. Hopefully we’ll cross paths again with her in the future!
Thanks once again to the lovely couple for letting us capture their big day on a beautiful winter day. This January wedding was definitely one for the history books! All the best Alexandra and Daniel on your next chapter in life!
