READY TO GO DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE?

The Royal Ambassador Event Centre | Caledon Wedding | Adam + Laura

These two lovebirds found each other in Adam’s homeland of Australia. A long ways away indeed! The theme of the day really was that you can’t predict when love will strike and you have to just run with it when you find that perfect someone. Laura’s mom made a hilariously speech mentioning how they strategized to have Laura avoid meeting that perfect guy in such a far away land. However, she finished up her speech by saying how happy she was that Laura didn’t walk away from this perfect guy on this one particular occasion. Hearing what Laura’s parents had to go through, Joanie and I couldn’t help but think of our own daughter and what we would do in a similar situation. At the end of the day, the guy has to be really special to make such a life-changing move… and he is… in steps Adam!

Man, this guy is too good to be true. Hanging out with him in the morning as he was getting ready with his guys was a real treat. Everybody there was so welcoming and on great form. Then, during the Q&A session, he basically said all the words that every girl wants to hear, and it was so genuine rather than rehearsed. He is a really impressive guy to say the least, it’s like he stepped straight out from a movie or something (speaking of, apparently he has the likes of Prince Eric from The Little Mermaid..do you see the resemblance?). Once I spent some time with his parents, I quickly understood where he got all of his traits from.

Behind every great man, is a great woman of course! Laura is just so much fun to be around, and she definitely has an aura about her that draws people in! Adam said it perfectly when he said that you just can’t help but want to be around her! The two of them were glowing on the day and their love was really felt around the room. When you have love like that, we can’t help but make a fantastic video because those emotions just pop up from the screen!

We couldn’t be happier that we got the opportunity to meet these two lovely people. We have to thank Justine + Jason for that, as that is the first time we actually met Laura (she was part of the bridal party). It was really nice to see familiar faces on the big day. Jason was actually the couple’s MC! He did such an amazing job, and really injected a lot of laughter into the night’s events!

The reception was held at The Royal Ambassador Event Centre in Caledon. We had been there earlier in the summer for the ceremony of Susan + Brian. The grounds have so many nice spots to work with when it comes to the photo shoot. You really are spoilt for choice. So if you do end up using this venue, there’s no need to find a separate photography location. While on the subject of photography, we have to give a shout out to Jenn from Jenn Kavanagh Photography! She’s not only easy to work with, but she takes great photos as well! Luckily for us, we get to work with her again in June for another wedding!

Thank you Adam and Laura for letting us capture your big day! We felt like we could relate to you in so many ways, since Joanie and I are also from different countries. Making that commitment to move and build a life in a new place really shows that you are with “the one”.

Nuthin but luv,
Henjo x
