“I don’t have friends, I have family.” Bravo to whoever wrote this line and served it up to Vin Diesel for those Fast and Furious movies! Seriously, the groomsman that used it in his speech, PERFECTLY summed up this couple and their wedding. Both Jeff and Michelle, genuinely, did not have any ‘friends’ in the room that day – everyone was welcomed as family. That was seriously, the sentiment all day. We could feel it in the speeches and we could feel it in the interactions between the couple and every single guest in attendance.
This wedding had a first for us. The whole bridal party made individual speeches which provided lots of wedding cinematography content! Each and every person was ready to face any fears of public speaking just to say a few words about how much the couple meant to them – certainly, a true sign of an amazing Mr and Mrs! Jeff and Michelle really know how to make everyone just feel ‘special’.
Beyond the fact that these two are pretty amazing, the wedding was so much fun! The MCs were hilarious, the games were super entertaining, the lion dance was spectacular, and the photobooth had props that we’ve never seen before! A giant soymilk drink carton??? All kinds of awesome! For those other Asians out there, you know what I mean! Who can just have fun though? Every brilliant wedding needs emotion, and boy did we feel some during that mother-son dance! What is it about grown men crying that sends me into a pile of mush?? Using Ed Sheeran’s Photograph for this wedding video didn’t help. Goosebumps and tears all the way!
Lastly, we want to send a shout out to Hugh and Katarina from Boakview Photography for being such fun people to work with! A talented hubby and wife team with a sense of humour and a smile on their face all day and night! What more can you ask for?
