This wedding had everything a wedding cinematographer could hope for. Epic visuals accompanied by epic audio.
Thomas and Melanie brought a lot of energy to the table and you could tell they enjoyed every second of their big day. A lot of thought and love went into every tiny detail of this wedding and it didn’t go unnoticed by the guests. From the moment we arrived we could see people in awe of the intricate decor that blended in with it’s surroundings. Everything that was part of their wedding seemed to have some sort of historic significance to them or were related to their love and their families. Melanie wore her mom’s old wedding dress, the vintage car they drove was her dad’s, they flew in olive branches especially from Italy as part of their wedding favours, and the list just goes on. These little touches definitely made it special and more meaningful for all of the people that were part of their big day.
This brings me onto the venue – ‘Ball’s Falls Conservation Area’ provided a stunning backdrop to this beautiful love story. We love outdoor wedding ceremonies for so many reasons. Everything always looks that extra bit special in the natural environment. If you’re looking at wedding venues in the Saint Catherine’s area this place is definitely worth taking a look at!
We have to mention the photographer – Daniel Clements Photography because without him, we wouldn’t have had the opportunity to capture this wedding. We worked with him for Brian + Susan’s wedding, and he recommended us to Thomas and we are happy it worked out! Daniel was working alongside his lovely girlfriend Livi Shaw who is an extremely talented photographer in her own right. Getting to work with both of them was a real bonus for Joanie and I as they are easy to get along with, and are exceptional when it comes to shooting at a distance leaving plenty of room for us videographers to get our shots too.
