When Evelina and Cristian booked with us last year, we couldn’t believe we weren’t going to see them until a year later. They are the definition of fun and friendly; making us feel like we’ve known them for ages! It was so nice seeing two cultures come together on the wedding day. I loved when Evelina did a little Spanish in her speech and Cristian did a little Polish in his speech….based on Evelina’s reaction though, we think she might have done the better job LOL!
BRIDE: I have to give a special shout out to Evelina for being so ORGANIZED! I guess that comes with the territory when you’re dealing with a teacher :). She basically made our jobs as wedding videographers so much easier and the day/night went as smoothly as any wedding could go! Great sense of humour along with a little bit of a wild streak…loving the leopard print shoes and garter belt Eve!!!
GROOM: Sweet, charming, and openly emotional (don’t you love that?)! Cristian’s whole family didn’t hold back, and it really did bring tears to our eyes listening to some of the heartfelt speeches! Maybe it’s an Argentinian thing!
DÉCOR: The bride went with Tiffany blue for both the décor and bridal party outfits. The colour certainly worked with the wooden textures of the venue and the wall to wall windows behind the head table. Lovely white orchids for centrepieces capped off what was an elegant and classic feel throughout the reception hall.
VENUE: Credit Valley Golf and Country Club in Mississauga gives you a great outdoor feel without having to actually have the reception outside! As I mentioned, there are wall to wall windows on one side of the hall, which lets in a lot of natural light which is great perfect for wedding cinematography. The high vaulted ceiling gives the space a really grand feel as well. However these high ceilings are separated by a partition in the middle of the hall if you decide to open it up for more guests. It’s something to consider if you mind having your head table under this lowered ceiling with guests on either side of you. Check it out in person as you will probably get a better idea of what works for your wedding!
VIDEO ENDING: Henry basically went back to his motion graphic days and created the unique ending to this video! It took a lot of work, but it was definitely worth it! Special shout outs to the photographers for bringing that frame!
PHOTOGRAPHERS: We worked with Stacey and Silvana from Azure Blue. Both were great fun to work with and definitely had some great ideas for different shots throughout the day/night. Thanks to them, we were able to get two amazing shots for our video! As we mentioned, the frame was genius for our ending and we used the headlights from Stacey’s car for that unbelievable kiss and dip shot! Thanks once again 🙂
MUSIC: Because there was emotion mixed with a lot of partying at this wedding, we knew we needed to pick a song that gave us that dual type of tempo. We came up with Without You by David Guetta featuring Usher. You can download from itunes here.
