New wedding venue alert! I had to start this blog post by mentioning this new wedding venue, especially the ceremony space. The guests are completely surrounded by trees and you really feel like you are cut off from the world for a moment, and have nothing else to focus on besides the ceremony itself. As you can tell by the wedding video, the drone came in handy 🙂 The last time a wedding ceremony gave us this intimate (in-our-own world) feeling was back in 2016 when we shot at Kortright Centre for Conservation in woodbridge – (Nick + Katlyn). Dragon’s Fire is actually the groom’s family golf course! Tristan along with his family and friends were responsible for clearing out that whole ceremony area and also building the amazing pergola by hand! Bravo and standing ovation to you guys! We can’t forget the bride’s efforts though – she transformed the reception tent into a beautiful indoor garden. These meaningful and personal touches made the wedding even more special. These two lovebirds also met at this venue! It’s where Tristan proposed too. What an absolute blessing to be able to have a wedding at such a meaningful location. It really reminds us of our last wedding post where the couple got married at their family cottage – (Joelle + Tom).
Honestly, there were so many memorable things about this wedding day that we are not even gonna try capture it all in this post. We will let the video do most of the talking. But we have to mention Kaylie’s parents as both of our jaws dropped when we saw how amazing they look. I mean Kaylie’s mom could easily pass for her sister. It was just nuts, in a great way.
