When we first met Sophia and Aaron, it was over Skype because they actually live and work in Seattle. Straight away, we could feel their warmth and quirky personalities shine through the screen. You would think a virtual meeting would make it hard to get a ‘vibe’, but we got one loud and clear – all positive! We love this couple – so friggin’ adorable as well!
Ok, so forward to the wedding day and their little Q&A session with us. This had to be one of the funniest Q&A’s we’ve done with a bride and groom. Even though we didn’t provide Sophia and Aaron with the questions beforehand, they still managed to come up with identical answers! Coincidence? I think not. And neither do they! As you can see from the wedding video, they are A LOT alike. They love each other SOOOO much because they ‘love themselves’ LOL! Oh, that cracked me up! Speaking of ‘UP’, that Disney movie was the theme to their wedding, so we knew we had to incorporate that into their video somehow. That’s why we used the Up theme song for the beginning and end of the wedding video.
There were so many hilarious moments throughout the wedding day and night, but we have to mention here, the ‘message to Aaron’ from his groomsmen…seriously, it was gold for us! We knew that clip was something we had to leave in full when it came around to editing the highlight video. Perfect content and the right amount of dialogue to bring on the LOLs.
On another note, this was our third time working with the lovely David and Sherry from David and Sherry Photography – another husband and wife team! We worked with them on Jos + Kerri’s wedding and Laurie-Anne + Craig’s wedding. They take lovely photos (and some fantastic ‘couplescapes’) – check them out! Here are their photos for Sophia and Aaron.
Many thanks to Sophia and Aaron for having us join in on all the fun as your wedding cinematographers – you two rock! We won’t forget the laughs (especially when the best man got his legs waxed…ouch!) Sorry Leon, it was funny.
Until the next post,
PS – thanks again for the lovely pressie you got for our little Lea – you guys are so thoughtful!
