One thing we love about what we do, is the cool people we get to meet. We seem to get very lucky and always get to work with such nice and genuine people. Kim and David are another example of this. It’s hard to remember all of our consultations, but for some reason we can easily remember meeting these two. It was such a laugh with easy flowing conversation. Joanie and I went home saying to one another, “I hope they book with us”.
On the wedding day itself, it was pretty much the same. Even when it rained during the photoshoot, nothing could wipe the smile off Kim and David’s faces. They happily posed under the light sprinkle and got everyone to follow suit! They were just happy and excited to get married to each other and have a partner for life. That’s what its all about at the end of the day, isn’t it folks?
Another bonus about this wedding was getting to work with a familiar face – Jamieson Dean Photography. We worked with Jamieson earlier this year for Nisha and Bhavesh’s wedding. He really knows what he is doing so check his stuff out to see if his style is what you are looking for.
The wedding was held at King’s Garden Banquet Hall in Etobicoke. Kim, with the help of her bridesmaids and groomsmen, really transformed the place into something quite special and unique for all the guests to enjoy. We loved the KD balloon backdrop available for group picture-taking during the cocktail hour – cute and sweet which reflects the couple’s personalities. Well done guys!
David and Kim, you truly have a fairytale romance – the modern day Cinderella and Prince Charming! Hopefully our paths will cross again in the future. It’s been our pleasure getting to tell your story. Have fun re-living your big day with family and friends over the holidays!

Side note from Joanie: I LOVED Kim’s wedding dress! It fit her perfectly in all senses of the word – not only in size, but with her personality! She looked like a princess! The details/sparkle/buttons on the back were stunning, the delicate lace bodice, the lovely tulle skirt…ahhh, I can go on! Great choice Kim!
