Rachel and David. David and Rachel. Oh where do we even begin?
The first thing I thought when going through all of the footage before the editing process was, ‘WOW!’ We had it all! Wonderful people, beautiful families, wear-your-heart-on-your-sleeve vows, the most stunning setting, LOVE, LOVE and more LOVE! We really could go on. Basically, I knew the pressure was on. We had magnificent content, but now we had to do the day and the couple’s love story justice in the editing room! Felt the same way when we were going through Victor + Tiffany’s wedding footage too!
My excitement started when I realized they were having their wedding at Kurtz Orchards in the Gracewood Estates venue. We’ve filmed here before and as always, it was breathtakingly beautiful. Two rows of dining tables lined up in the middle of an orchard and vineyard, you can’t get anything more picturesque! There’s something about a vineyard wedding that is so romantic! We were reminded of the beauty we saw at Jane + Jason’s wedding held at Stratus Vineyards.
So, not only did we have a stunning venue, we had the most stunning couple! Seriously, these two stepped right out of a magazine no? What we love most though is that Rachel and David are not only a couple of pretty faces, they are truly wonderful people. We felt their warmth, their genuine nature, and their playfulness all from watching their wedding day unfold! From their own mouths, and those of their family and friends, we know these two are going the distance! Trust us, you will feel the same way in a short 6 minutes of watching their highlights! Wait until you see that groom reaction <insert crying emoji here!>
We must give a big shout out to Alyssa and Co. Events! The couple could not say enough kind words about Alyssa and her team. They even devoted a section of their thank you speech to her, because Alyssa went above and beyond for them during the planning process (as I’m sure she does for all of her clients!). She did an amazing job pulling everything together, and just made our jobs easier by ensuring everything went seamlessly. Thank you!
Speaking of vendors, we worked with amazing ones, including some we’ve worked with before like the Accordionist Claudio Santaluce who we first saw at Cece + Cinzia’s wedding – how fun! Oh, and we must mention Everyday People Typewriter Poems – such an original and unique concept! We wish they were around for our wedding day!
Before we let the video do the talking, Rachel and David, we need to say a big thanks to you for trusting in us to capture your big day. Your love should be shared with all of the world to see. Inspiration for all lovers out there!
Until the next post,
Joanie (and Henry!) x
