Botanical Gardens Willow Pond Wedding | Niagara Parks | Emily + Justin

Some vendors in the wedding community may use the word cute to describe their couples, and their couples probably ARE very cute. But how do I convey the cuteness level of Emily and Justin, without just sounding generic? I’m sure if you have watched the video by now, you will understand what I’m trying to say. The cuteness factor was on a whole other level and there really are no words to capture it, you just have to observe them around each other and you will get it. CUE the most adorable couple award right here, right now! I swear it has nothing to do with the fact that they’re 20 years old…well, maybe. We’re almost twice their age (OMG), and I can say without a doubt that we’re not cute. We’re waaaaaay past that!

Listening to them talk about each other during the Q&A, feeling their emotions as they read each other’s letters, hearing their vows, soaking in all their closest family and friend’s speeches about their relationship and love, and just seeing Emily and Justin interact and have fun with each other…the reasons they’re totally in love were endless!

Emily’s dad was the first person to contact us through a phone call, where he explained just how excited his daughter was to book us. Emily and Justin are going to school in the States, Harvard to be exact (smarties!), and because of this, I met with Emily’s parents in person to discuss the details of their package and what we can offer. I honestly never received so much praise in my whole life! They were talking about Emily’s wedding video like their life depended on it, and when they officially booked us there on the spot, Emily’s mom burst out crying. Happy tears I assure you. So suffice to say, we knew we had to knock this one out of the park, no pressure eh!

The wedding ceremony was held at Botanical Gardens Willow Pond in Niagara Parks. This was such a stunning place to have a ceremony and I would highly recommend it! I’m so glad I managed to squeeze in a few free minutes just before the ceremony started to grab some aerial shots with my drone. You could tell it was quite windy during the ceremony which always adds that little something extra. I don’t know what it is, but just seeing the branches blowing from side to side really made all of our shots feel a bit more dramatic and cinematic. It reminds me of another wedding we shot on a very windy day that we loved the look of too – Jessica + Andreas. The space really deserved to be shown off from all angles. As for the wedding reception, that was held at Whirlpool Golf Course which was also stunning in it’s own right.

The couple were just as sweet to us on the day. Always asking us if we needed anything, heaping praise on us, and literally were the easiest couple to work with. That ultra kindness gave us all the good vibes needed to joyfully capture all the amazing emotions surrounding us on that day. We feel like that shines through in the video! When we have beautiful people laughing and smiling without any direction, it’s hard to get a bad shot!

Thanks guys for trusting us to tell your story. We are sure our paths will cross again at another event in the future!

Nuthin but love,
Henjo x
