READY TO GO DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE?

Steam Whistle Brewing | Toronto Wedding | Livio + Meghan

Okay, so we’ve worked with our share of doppelgangers in the day, but we feel this one tops the list! Can anyone guess Meghan’s celebrity lookalike? We’re sure she gets it all the time, so hopefully she’s not eye-rolling right now while reading this! Yes, you must’ve guessed Amy Adams! Omg, Meghan is such a stunner, and we totally understand why Livio was hypnotized when he first met her and saw those striking blue eyes!

Not only is this one gorgeous couple, they are successful foodies, full of life, and so much fun to be around! We first met them over skype because they both live in the UK, and had such a lengthy and fun conversation just getting to know them, and the two as a couple. Livio co-owns Belpassi Bros with his twin brother, and they specialize in meatballs. Looks SOOO good and we can’t wait to try it out the next time we’re in London! We can’t believe Meghan developed a gluten intolerance with a chef as a husband and all that good food around!

We were excited to hear that they were holding their wedding at Steamwhistle Brewery as we had never filmed there before. It fit the vibe of the couple and was a treat for all of their out-of-town guests! What a great intro to Toronto! They did a great job in dressing up the space – it looked beautiful! Not surprised since Coriander Girl was the florist! They did another recent wedding of ours too – Tiffany + Victor. Also notice those cutely folded napkins on the plates for the bride and groom! So unique and pretty. The couple also had a giant shiny silver pinata hanging from the ceiling. We were wondering what it was at first – thought it was a disco ball actually – it was that shiny! Was so much fun watching them try to bust that thing open in the evening. Once it fell to the ground, the kicking helped! The last time we filmed a pinata at a wedding, was Michael + Michelle’s big day in Mexico. Oh the memories of hot and sunny weather…

After the wedding, we knew we had to include Livio’s dad in the video when it came around to the edit. It was abundantly clear through the Q&A and the speeches, that he was a massive part of Livio’s life. His presence was felt on the day, and we knew he had to be remembered as being part of the wedding through the highlight video. We hope we did his memory justice.

We want to thank the lovely couple again for letting us be a part of such a special day. We had so much fun filming all the love in the room and couldn’t have asked for a better couple to work with. Lots of love to you both and best wishes for this next chapter in life!

Until the next post,
Joanie and Henry x
