We needed a fire extinguisher to put out all of the fire emojis we started to use in this post to describe this wedding day. It was hard to hold back! We’ll spare you the emojis though and will just get straight to the point. This was a wedding no one wanted to miss! After many couples having to forego the dancing aspect of their big days due to the restrictions of the pandemic, guests were desperate for a party! Alyssa and Rishi did not disappoint when things finally opened up and they were finally able to throw the bash they wanted to with all of their loved ones. These two were already married the year prior in an intimate ceremony, and this was basically their one-year vow renewal to celebrate with everyone in their lives that couldn’t fit the number count originally. By the looks on everyone’s faces that day, it was all worth the wait!
This power couple held their wedding at The Fairmont Royal York, and we couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop. Did you see that amazing rooftop? It was the perfect space to hold their first look and get some epic drone shots in as well. The interiors were just as stunning – we would say ‘iconic’ in one word. When you walked into that ceremony and reception space, jaws just dropped. All of those candles and blooms transformed that room into a magical wonderland dripping with elegance. Shout out to Lexi, their planner who did the most amazing job of bringing all of that beauty together! The same planner extraordinaire that we worked with for Sandra and Steven’s big day. Everything went off without a hitch, just as it has every time we have worked with her.
Truly this epic wedding event was a reflection of the couple themselves. Alyssa, being the head of YouTube marketing, must’ve played a hand in much of the details of the big day. When you are a boss, you are a boss! And honestly, no detail was missed. Also, Rishi works for Google – so Google and YouTube? – you know this was a match made in heaven! Power couple to say the least! We need a new merged name to brand these two we think – what about ALYSHI??
From the bride’s absolutely STUNNING wedding gown, to the groom’s arrival at the hotel on a glammed-up horse, this wedding had no shortage of beauty and surprises. The Q&As and speeches were FIRE and you can’t beat that dramatic bride entrance into the hall for the ceremony. And the party! Man, the PARTY! We won’t say much more, just that you have to watch the video! That’s the last thing we will say!
