Love is patient, but we are not.
We absolutely LOVE that saying, which is perfect for the times we are in! And where did we see this saying first? Megann and James had it on a sign at their very first ceremony back in 2020 where they had an elopement in beautiful Huckleberry Rock in Muskoka. As much as they would’ve liked having their big party at the same time, they just couldn’t wait any longer to say ‘I do’. Both of their moms were there to celebrate with them and as Megann mentioned in the video, it was a great success and the day turned out better than they could have imagined. Oh, and we must mention the charcuterie platter they shared with each other and then gifted to us as well. It was easily the best charcuterie board we have ever had! YUM! And then fast forward one year later to 2021, where they were finally able to have a ceremony in front of all of their loved ones and party together too!
Megann found us when we filmed her friend’s wedding back in 2013 – Antonella + WIlkin. Our style of editing and storytelling caught her eye and led us to telling her love story. Everything fell together so nicely during the editing process with this one. All the audios bites and visual moments were just all very natural and nothing felt forced or out of place. During the video interview in the morning, it was like they were finishing each other sentences and just speaking off the cuff.
A big part of how smoothly both of these wedding days were has to be contributed to their planner -Tanya and her team – Classy Affairs. So many random things pop up on wedding days that can throw a spanner in the works, it’s a given. But both of these wedding events went off without a hitch. On top of that, the timing of everything just felt right and nothing felt rushed.
