There is something just so serene, calming, and sweet about these two lovebirds. The way that they carried themselves throughout the day made us feel so relaxed and at ease…and that’s a feat when you’re part of a hectic wedding day! The two met online and have been in love ever since. Seeing firsthand the success of these two adds another notch to my ‘reasons to date online’ list that I use to barrage my single friends and family with. My schpeel usually consists of, ‘if I wasn’t with Henry, I’d be all over that!’ LOL! I definitely missed out on the fun of the digital age of courtship.
Their elegant and classy wedding affair was held at the beautiful Whistle Bear Golf Club and was executed perfectly by Nadia and her team at Event Boutique. It was our first time filming at Whistle Bear, and as wedding cinematographers we were very impressed! The lighting on that particular day in every space just looked so soft and lovely on film. I was in love with the chandeliers too in the reception space – such a beautifully chic addition to the venue. The space was made even more beautiful by the bride! It was mentioned in Chet’s speech that all of the lovely details were sprung from her vision. She really did an amazing job of complimenting the space with all the decor choices she chose. I’m always a fan of the marquee letters, and they quite fittingly had ‘LOVE’ in front of their head seat. I must also give props to the kitchen staff for bringing out some very delicious (and piping hot!) meals to a relatively high guest count!
As we headed into the evening, the dance party was unleashed and was unreal! Everyone was out on the dance floor giving it their all! There was a large UK contingent in attendance as well, and I’m sure they were not diasppointed with the party they flew all the way over for! There was even someone who flew all the way from New Zealand on a 40 hour flight. Shows just how much Vanisha and Chet are loved.
Thanks again to the lovely couple for choosing us to capture the memories of their big day! We had such a blast filming and editing this one – we LOVE this song (Firestone by Kygo feat. Conrad Sewell) and it just fit the vibe of the day perfectly!
