Back in 2015 we filmed Leah’s sister’s beautiful wedding in Jordan, Ontario – Laura + Mark. Little did we know that around the same time, Leah had met her future husband at Laura’s bachelorette party and had begun a very special relationship of her own. Now 6 years on, we are lucky enough that Leah asked us to tell her love story on film as well. What’s their ‘how-we-met’ story you ask? Well, you’ll have to watch the video to find out!
As we all know, many wedding dates had to be rescheduled due to covid restrictions and the pandemic. Leah and Brandon just couldn’t wait, so they decided not to postpone and instead had a small intimate ceremony back in 2020 and then a larger celebration in 2021. We were very happy to be able to incorporate both ceremonies into the same video, as we know each event meant a lot to both of them in different ways.
What was incredibly beautiful about the day, was that they were able to have their wedding on the family farm. That drone shot towards the house was just so cinematic (honestly, don’t know what other way to describe it!), and we were so proud to capture such a meaningful place to the couple and their families on film on their special day. As we have said many times before, we LOVE a good backyard wedding – the energy about the day is just different because the space is so close to the hearts of everyone in attendance. We love when couples have the opportunity to have their wedding at a meaningful location. Another wedding that comes to mind is Joelle + Tom who had their wedding ceremony at the family cottage.
We want to wish the lovely couple all the best in this next chapter in their lives! Your love story is literally pulled from a romantic novel or movie. Surely, everything you had wished for Leah! Dreams do come true 🙂
