READY TO GO DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE?

Intimate Backyard Wedding | Mississauga | Nicole + Chris

2020 has been a truly crazy and unpredictable year. Because of the Corona virus, couples have had to modify plans and adjust to ever-changing circumstances like never before. Almost all of our couples this year have had to postpone their weddings and learn to just ‘go-with-the-flow’. Honestly don’t know how we would’ve coped with all of this, if Covid-19 happened during our wedding planning process. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, but throw a pandemic on top of that? Henjo may not have been Henjo anymore LOL! We applaud each and every one of our couples that have dealt with, and are still dealing with, the outcomes of this virus.

As unpredictable as life is right now, we can say with certainty that our bride and groom, Nicole and Chris, took lemons and turned them into lemonade! Coming to the decision to host their wedding in Nicole’s parents’ backyard was difficult of course (not being able to celebrate with everyone they wanted, was the hardest part!), but their decision ended up with a bunch of silver linings. Not only were they able to produce the most beautiful of reception spaces, they were celebrating their love with their closest family and friends in such a memorable and nostalgic place! We couldn’t have asked to witness and film something more beautiful than that.

Speaking of beautiful reception spaces, it’s not the first time we worked with Rias Designs (this couple’s vendor for design and flowers). We worked with them a few years back for Margaret and Arthur’s Wedding. Check out another place they beautified! And just another talented vendor we have worked with in the past to note, Polka Dot Paper Shop, who we worked with for Cece and Cinzia’s Wedding.

So this was our first wedding of 2020, and despite all the restrictions, we feel like we started off with a bang! We will let Nicole and Chris’ video do the talking.

Enjoy the powerful love between two incredibly wonderful individuals. The groom would fight a lion for the bride if he had to. Enough said.

Until the next post,
Henjo x
