We first connected with Leann through Joanie’s sister, Carolyn. They both worked together in the past doing a tireless and amazing job working with autistic children. We’re not surprised that Leann is in this line of work as it’s the perfect reflection of her very caring and loving nature! We are also not surprised why Michael is so in love! His reaction during the first look and that first look down the aisle was priceless! So back to how we connected – luckily for us, our wedding films came up in conversation between Leann and Carolyn, and boom, here we are today posting their finished wedding video!
I have to make a quick mention of Leann’s dad also. Leann told us from the very beginning that her dad was convinced that Mike and her had to book us after watching our videos. He didn’t hold back with the compliments on the wedding day itself and we were both truly flattered! It’s so nice getting positive feedback from our couples, but to hear that their families feel the same way makes it special on a whole other level!
The photoshoot was held at University of Toronto and it really provided a lot of variety for both the stills and the video. When planning a wedding in Toronto, it’s definitely one of the places to consider!
Both the wedding Ceremony and Reception was held at Malaparte in downtown Toronto which was fitting for the couple as they got engaged in the CN Tower which is in perfect view from this venue! This venue has a lot to offer to its couples. Amazing views, great natural light for photos and video, and the option to have your first dance on the roof top lit by sparklers! And let’s not forget that Oliver & Bonacini Events take care of the food – what a nice treat for all the guests and vendors 🙂 It’s also worth mentioning that the cocktail hour is held outside near the ceremony space and this really is an epic location for sharing some drinks with your guests.
We have to give a shout out to Bruna from Simply Lace Photography! We worked with her earlier this year for Sufya and Pamir’s wedding. It’s such a nice treat for us when we get to work again with someone we get along with so well!
