I’m coming back to my first love…photography! It’s something I’ve always dabbled in until I was introduced to the world of videos. I did some family photography when I was living in London for some family and friends, and have just put it on the back burner since our video careers took off. I have started to fit in a few family photoshoots throughout the year to bring some new material into the Henjo mix! Why family photography? Well, I love ‘feeling’ the love! The people I shoot are always amazingly full of life, laughter, and fun! The Leung family were a great example of this!
It took about 5 minutes, when I met little Chloe, for her to warm up to me and basically forget that the camera was there shooting her every cute move haha! Full of laughs and adorable faces, it was all I needed to capture her undeniable glow! Parents were super helpful too throughout the process – which is key when doing a family shoot with little ones. Parents play such a big part in making their children feel comfortable and natural in front of the lens – and Gloria and Kenny did just that! Thanks to the Leung family (including baby bump!), for being such excellent subjects to shoot – you made the day so enjoyable, it didn’t feel like work at all!
Parents out there – how do you think your kids would do on a photoshoot like this? Cooperative or running wild? Posing or hiding? Laughter or tears? You never know, your children may surprise you!
Until the next post,
