Sagan Banquet Hall | Mississauga | Nisha + Bhavesh

Wedding Videography Mississauga Sagan Banquet Hall 2

The reason we met Nisha and Bhavesh in the first place was because their amazing photographer, Jamieson Dean (whom we’ve worked with before on Kuntal + Jeppe’s wedding) recommended us! We have to say a big thanks to him again because we had such a blast filming such a content-filled day! There was so much footage to work with and it really took the master editor, Joanie, a few weeks to wrap her head around how she was going to approach this edit. She keeps trying new ideas until she comes up with something that we both know will stand the test of time and really do the day itself justice.

I think the following story I’m about to tell will sum up this couple pretty well. So as you can see in the video, their wedding cake (which was beautifully crafted by the way!) kind-of imploded at some point. It actually imploded before Nisha and Bhavesh had their grand entrance, so they never got to see their cake in all its pre-imploded glory. The key part of this story is the reaction of the couple to the condition of their cake. It didn’t seem to bother them one bit. They just looked happy and grateful for the bigger things going on that day, having all their loved ones in one place to celebrate their love for one another. When it came to the cake cutting, they made the best of it and I personally think it turned into quite a unique and memorable moment for the family. So many people tried to fix the cake before the grand entrance, but the cake itself seemed to have a mind of it’s own, and never co-operated. The family came together for the cake picture and just had fun with the whole situation.

As wedding videographers, this wedding pretty much had everything we needed to make a great video! So we have to say a big thank you to the couple for providing so much entertainment for everyone. It turned into one big party with all the dance performances and the crowd was getting involved as well. Then once the dance floor opened, you couldn’t find one person sitting in their chair. It didn’t matter what age you were, young and old were squashing themselves onto the dance floor to let it all hang loose. This is something every bride and groom wants for their wedding day and it’s just so great to see and experience when it happens.

We need to take some time and give a proper shout out to Jamieson Dean Photography! Jamieson really excels with making everybody in the room comfortable in front of the camera. Towards the end of the night I caught him dancing belly to belly with one of the guests and you would think he knew the other person he was dancing with for years, but when I asked him after, he said he just met the guy. Apart from having great energy and a great attitude he knows how to take a great photo and has years of experience doing so, check out his website in the link above to see what we mean. We get to work with him again this year in the fall, so we’re really looking forward to that!

It was our first time shooting a wedding at Sagan Banquet Hall in Mississauga. Shout out to all the staff there for ensuring everything ran smoothly and the couple and guests were well taken care of at all times.

Thanks again to Nisha and Bhavesh for trusting us when it came to wedding videography for their big day!

Nuthin but love,

Hen x
