READY TO GO DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE?

Redcrest Golf Club Wedding | King City | Michael + Cynthia

Finding a life partner that ALSO enjoys waking up at 6am on a Sunday morning to go for a 12K hike? Yep, that’s Michael and Cynthia. You can just tell that they don’t take any minute for granted and squeeze in as much as possible to enjoy what life has to offer. These two accountants know how to work hard and play hard, and are such a great match that they both even agree who the better accountant is LOL!

The two of them also incorporated each of their cultural traditions into their wedding day which we absolutely love. As wedding videographers, we are so privileged to witness, learn about, and capture such traditions, and feel it adds so much to the love story of two people coming together as one. Cynthia included a beautiful Chinese tea ceremony and table toasting during the reception, which we have always loved filming (see Ryan + Gladys). Table toasting is great because you basically get to greet all of your guests and have a drink while you’re doing it 🙂 On Michael’s side, there was a bread breaking ceremony to determine who is going to wear the pants in the family (you’ll have to watch the video to find out who won!), and also a Macedonia Pig Dance that thoroughly entertained all the guests! What a great way to celebrate the merging of two different cultures together!

Thank you so much Cynthia and Michael for letting us be a part of your special day! You guys made us feel so comfortable on the day, and never made us feel like vendors! We even got those adorable little succulents that you were growing in your home for a year! We think about you guys every time we look at them 🙂 Yes, they are still alive and well! We hope you both are enjoying every minute of married life (as much as waking up early on a weekend)!

Love,
Henjo x
