READY TO GO DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE?

Cambium Farms Wedding Video | Caledon | Alan + Kiersten

This was one of those weddings where the weather was up and down all day. Kinda reminds us of our own wedding. It was a ‘will the ceremony be outside or not?’ kinda day. Luckily for us and this couple, the rain decided to take a break just in time to have the ceremony outside! Joanie and I were so happy for Alan and Kiersten as they were able to have the ceremony they envisioned 🙂 Rain is actually considered lucky on a wedding day – and isn’t it romantic with the umbrellas?

I must mention how calm the couple stayed when they weren’t sure what the weather was going to do next. They always looked for solutions with smiles on their faces and found nice sheltered spots here and there to get some useful footage while waiting for the rain to clear. Another rainy wedding day we remember was AnnMarie + David’s wedding. Another couple that just rolled with whatever came! How Alan and Kiersten dealt with the weather is just one example to show you how UN-bride/groom-zilla these two were! From the get-go when we met them over a skype consultation, they were the nicest pair with great senses of humour! We remember laughing a lot and thinking – we hope they choose us!

This was our first time shooting at Cambium Farms and we loved it! We really have a thing for wedding venues where you can do everything in one location. It saves so much time throughout the day, allowing the couple to spend more time enjoying the day with their guests. It also allows you to have a later ceremony, which means you get to sleep-in in the morning so you are fully charged for the party ahead.

Let’s just say we love a good ol’ barn wedding! The last time we done one was last year at Brooklands Farm – Ashley + Sean’s wedding. Barn weddings just always have a great vibe. All the guests just look so happy to get out of the city and have a mini-holiday of their own.

I’m not going to go on and on about how lovely the couple were to work with, as hopefully you get that from the video. But what you don’t see in the video is just how well these two treated everyone around them. They made sure everyone was well fed in the morning, including us! Having a full belly really goes a long way in terms of overall happiness 🙂

Guys we are so happy you love the video! During all of our communication before the wedding day we knew you both were genuine to the core. We really wanted to make something special you could treasure forever and your response made us feel like we did. Thank you for all the kind words!

Stay in touch,
Henry + Joanie x
